Hey, It’s Garrett,
This afternoon, Powell takes the podium… and the algorithms are going to listen to every word.
But I won’t be.
Because it’s not about what the Fed says — it’s about what they do.
This morning, I walked through the disconnect between official guidance and behind-the-scenes policy. They say it’s not QE… but the Fed just bought $38 billion in bonds over 48 hours. That’s support. That’s liquidity. And that’s what actually moves this market.
We prepare.
At 2:35 p.m. — give or take a few minutes — I’ll be watching for a very specific setup that’s played out over and over again. I call it the 2:35 Trade, and it’s been one of the cleanest opportunities for fast movers on Fed Day.

I’ll walk through it live today — show you exactly what I’m watching on SPY, QQQ, and a few other names.
We’re also keeping an eye on deeper risks:
Regional banks are acting strange again…
Momentum is flashing warning signs…
And biotech might be your next short setup if it breaks today.
Want to know how some traders are stacking wins before the market even wakes up? This caught my attention.
If you missed the breakdown this morning, make sure you're in the room by 2 p.m.
This is the Super Bowl for short-term traders — and you need to be ready before Powell says a word.
Let’s get to work,
Garrett Baldwin
